Affinity Designer creates many extra pixels when there is text or a line ending with an arrow near the edge of the graphic to be exported to any image format

Recommended Posts

Good evening, I have been searching for many hours for a solution to the problem that Affinity Designer V2.1 creates many extra pixels when I create a text or a line ending with an arrow near the edge of the graphic to export in any image format. Unfortunately I could not find a solution. Graphics set at 1000x1000 px are even exported at 1028x1000 px by adding a transparent area near the previously indicated objects. I attach an image for clarity. I kindly ask if you can help me find a solution to my problem. Thanks in advance and best regards. David

It would help to have a sample document with the problem, not just a screenshot.

You could try using the Export Persona and make a slice out of the selected layer. If it is a group then everything in the group will be exported.

I suspect that you have a clipping mask that is 1000 x 1000 pixels but there is something that is extended to the left by 28 pixels. Also the x co-ordinate is a fraction of a pixel.

As Walt has stated a sample document would be helpful as there could be many many things causing this.

Another thing to try is just to copy the selection you want to export but then make a new document from the Clipboard. File > New from Clipboard.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.2
Affinity Designer 2.3.1 | Affinity Photo 2.3.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.3.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
