GarryP Posted June 18, 2023 Share Posted June 18, 2023 Oh… then I don’t see how v_kyr’s suggestion would help as the Snapping has nothing directly to do with the text positioning within the frames in relation to the baseline. Or what that has to do with the “bottom box edges”. I’m still confused as to what you are trying to do. If you have found a way to do what you want then that’s great, but I’m thinking about other people reading this and wondering if it’s really the correct answer for what they might want to do. GarryP Posted June 18, 2023 Share Posted June 18, 2023 Ah… this is in Designer, sorry, I thought we were talking about Publisher for some reason. Yes, the way shown in the video is the way to get the baselines of the text in the different text frames aligned in Designer. I’ve just booked my brain in for a full service and tune-up. Just a note for anyone reading this: Text baselines in Designer are handled differently to those in Publisher which has much more, and better, baseline handling functionality. If you’re using Publisher then you probably shouldn’t normally be aligning the text in frames using the Baseline Snapping functionality as shown here, especially for long texts.
