Tomthepen Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 This is just a public service announcement: If you work on files on Affinity Version 2 on an iPad and save them, you will NOT be able then open them in Affinity Version 1 any more. That is all. All the best Quote

Tomthepen Posted June 17, 2023 Author Posted June 17, 2023 Yeah I know, seems like a lot of people, me included, didn't get the memo so that would indicate a failure in communication. I didn't even know there was a V2 when I downloaded Affinity Photo for my iPad and now I'm sitting here with important work that I can ONLY complete on there. Andy05 1 Quote

Tomthepen Posted June 17, 2023 Author Posted June 17, 2023 My main gripe is I would happily update my Mac AP but not at the current price and it grates to see 25% off the full suite but not individual applications. Quote

Too bad you didn't purchase during the introductory period, when you'd have gotten a 40% discount. There will probably be a 20% discount on the individual applications at some point, if you wait longer. I think this is a completely standard and unsurprising business practice that you can encounter in everyday life - the discount for one yogurt will be lower (if any) than the discount for the whole package.
