How to create an outline

Hi, 

I was wondering if anyone could help me, I am trying to do some designs with words and images on a sticker, when i upload there are gaps appearing between the words and the images so I am trying to create an outline around the image and the words so when they are cut, it is one full image not separate. Do anyone have an advice on how to do this and is it quick and easy to do? I've attached an image of adding an outline but its not working to create the full fill, if anyone has any advice that would be amazing! I'm on AD2.

If you really want to keep the outline around the words, you could create a custom shape with the Pen Tool. A simpler approach would be to use a regular parametric shape like this:
