FishDad Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 RC-Astro StarXterminator and Affinity V2 Mac. I bought the product, but can not get it installed. When you do their Mac Install it loads on my hard drive, but AP does not see it. I have checked use Photoshop plugins (note, I do not have PS). Can sometime help me get this installed? Thanks Quote
Dan C Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 Hi FishDad, We can't guarantee every Photoshop plugin will work on our software, I would recommend contacting the developers to confirm compatibility. Lee T Quote
EricHArnold Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Hi Lee_T, on a Macbook Pro M2, Affinity is definitely not recognizing the RC-Astro plugin as show in the screenshot attached. I did guide Affinity to the Applications folder in which RC-Astro resides. Any suggestions? Thanks, Eric. Quote

The only plug-in format that Affinity Photo recognizes is .8bf. But even if Affinity Photo recognizes the plug-in, there is no guarantee that it will work with Affinity Photo. I thought the plug-in format was .plugin there. @EricHArnold: That error message looks like you tried to Open the plugin. You wouldn't do that, you would just add the path to get to it.
