On Designer 2: This work is normally effect? or great error?

Recommended Posts

I tried perspective work, but a couple of matter confused me. Tell me about this effect  are normal or great error⁉️

Issue:

  • Text shapes amazing effect. wrap, back to normal shape outside perspective frame.
  • Sometimes leave shapes data after move text box. I change from OpenGL to Metal, but still it.
  • This effect when move text box only.

Setup

  • Document size 7000px x 4000px
  • Font: Avenir Next (Heavy, 194.2pt and Tracking 50%), Font outline 5px and yellow color, fill gray.
  • Warp Group (Perspective): Size Width 5415px x Height 182.5px. Position X-axis 1095px x Y-axis 1782px
  • Perspective frame's four apex point positions(X-Y): 850-700, 4000-1930, 1050-2640, 4030-2120

System

  • M1 Mac mini
  • macOS 13.4 Ventura
  • Affinity Designer 2.1.0

Thank you for your interesting and great tools🤩

It is the way Warp Groups work.

The Warp area is set to the area of the content at time of creation. Then if you move the content, you get areas that don't warp, or strange inverted warps, etc.

If this is useful or interesting to your work, that is great.

Personally, I find it a limitation that means I can't easily edit (especially enlarge, or add to) the contents of a warp, without destroying the effect of the warp.

I'd like to be able to resize the Warp Group container manually, and also have the option for the Warp Group to auto resize to fit contents.
