yardshark Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Please forgive if this has been posted elsewhere, but I've noticed that I have to RE-ADD my shiny new Vector Flood Fill tool (🧡) every time I reopen Designer. Am I missing something? I figured that once I put it there, it would just stay. Muchas gracias. Quote
R C-R Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 How specifically are you trying to add it to the Tools panel, via View > Customize Tools or something else? Also, which version of AD are you using & on Mac or Windows? GarryP Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 In addition to the advice above, did you install the application properly? If you are using a Mac, and are running the software directly from the downloaded DMG, then you will need to install it instead by dragging the application icon from the DMG to an Applications folder. (Plenty of instructions for this on the web; just search for mac install application .) walt.farrell 1 Quote

Also, which version of AD are you using & on Mac or Windows? This is how I add it. I wasn't aware there was any other way. I open that panel, drag the tool on to the toolbar, and Close the Customize Tools panel. I was using version 2.1.0 on Windows, which I updated to 2.1.1 yesterday. I don't think I actually ever specifically closed it--most likely, it ended up being closed via global restart several times. And that might have been the reason the tool didn't stick, because I tried closing and reopening 2.1.1 and I seem to have the Fill Tool on the bar! Will report back if something goes wrong again.
