ygoe Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Affinity Designer 2.1.0 on Windows Draw two lines that are parallel to each other but shifted along their length Select both lines Mirror them in the direction of the lines (i.e. if the lines are vertical, mirror horizontal to swap left and right) You'd expect that the two lines swap places, but they end up somewhere else. Looks like one of the two lines makes the mirror axis, not the middle between them. Activating and setting the rotation centre cross marker has no effect on mirroring. Quote
Old Bruce Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Seems to be restricted to two Horizontal or Vertical lines. Not happening if they are not Horizontal or Vertical. This is Mac OS 11.7 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Staff Lee D Posted June 5, 2023 Staff Posted June 5, 2023 @ygoe Can you do a short screen recording showing your process, just so I can confirm. Quote
ygoe Posted December 21, 2023 Author Posted December 21, 2023 Aufzeichnung 2023-12-21 214352_edit.mp4 When the lines are vertical, they mirror to the side. After rotating them to horizontal, I see the expected behaviour. Now with Affinity Designer 2.3.0 on Windows 11. Quote
