after processing a batch of photos they are coming out dark. how do I fix that they shouldn't?

New hardware

dell inspiron 3030 i5 14400/16GB DDR5/UHD 730 graphics

Acer KB202 27in 1080p monitor

Affinity Photo 1.10.6

Affinity photo 2 2.5.3 Affinity Designer 2 2.5.3 Affinity Publisher 2 2.5.3 on Windows 11 Pro version 24H2

It's a known issue (bug), search the forum after it and how to workaround it with macros so far.

The issue "Batch Processing RAW files creates incredibly dark results, regression over 2.0.4" (REF: AFP-6187) has been fixed by the developers in build "2.1.1.1847".

This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions

If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us

FWIW, all(?) these erroneous 'current release' Serif Info Bot comments regarding v 2.1.1.x have been edited, replaced with the info about the next customer beta & release versions. There are around half a dozen different threads that have been corrected.
