Mr. Doodlezz
Hey everyone, Is this intended behaviour? Seems a bit off to me. Current Behaviour: Click & Drag only works for one Spacing option – however it changes the wrong value. Click & Drag the icon in front of Space Before Paragraph changes the value for First Line Indent! Click & Drag on any other icon in the Spacing section doesn’t do anything. Strangely enough, not even the First Line Indent icon itself is active for this. Expectation: Either Click & Drag on an icon while dragging it left/right will change the value for that icon, or … … Click & Drag on icons is generally disabled. I haven't tested it in beta. Hangman
Hi @Mr. Doodlezz, This is clearly a bug, there are several other instances in the UI that demonstrate similar behaviours, i.e., where dragging a specific label changes the values for a completely different field, e.g., a similar thing happens in the Colour Chooser panel. I'm unsure if this specific instance has already been logged but one of the moderation team will be able to confirm and if not it will be logged accordingly... Staff Lee_T Posted June 1, 2023 Staff Share Posted June 1, 2023 Hi Mr. Doodlezz, Which OS are you running, I'm unable to recreate this on Publisher 2.0.4.61 on Ventura 13.2.1 (M1). Lee
woefi
I can replicate this issue on my intel mac. there are several icons, which surprisingly do not react on click-drag but especially the one where the wrong value changes... Does this maybe have to do with undocked panels? In the past there were (and iirc still is) inconsistencies with the <tab> order when undocked, for example... see video: Bildschirmaufnahme 2023-06-01.mp4 Mr. Doodlezz 1 Quote Main machine: iMac 2019 (21,5-inch 4k, 6core), 64GB RAM, 1TB nvme + 2TB ssd, running on Mac OS 13; Display setup: 28" 5k Display (primary) + 21,5" iMac4k-Display for studio panels (secondary); Keyboard layout: german apple extended keyboard (aluminium);

Staff Lee_T Posted June 2, 2023 Staff Share Posted June 2, 2023 This appears to be isolated this to intel macs, I've logged this for the developers to look into. Lee Mr. Doodlezz and Hangman
