Jomy10 Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 I would like to achieve the following: In a text field somewhere, I declare that I want to declare that something has to be inserted into the text. When exporting, I want to export n times for a list of values. For each value there will be a different export where that part of the text is replaced by the value. I hope this makes any sense? Is this at all possible? Quote
Old Bruce Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 You may be able to achieve what you want by using the Data Merge function. 3 minutes ago, Jomy10 said: I hope this makes any sense? It is rather vague. Callum 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Staff Callum Posted May 31, 2023 Staff Posted May 31, 2023 Hi Jomy10, If you could provide an example of what you are trying to do we should be able to advise you further regarding this however as Old Bruce has said if this is possible its likely via using Data merge. 0be1 Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 I was doing some similar research and came across this post and what I believe the OP is wanting to do is similar to Adobe Illustrators variable field function. This variable fields looks to an external file in a csv format. You can see the adobe help here. And yes, Sefif needs to be adding functionality like this that should not be too much overhead to the program and make multiple artboard changes VERY quick!https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/data-driven-graphics-templates-variables.html Cheers!!
