KonoKuela Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 I have a document that's 8.5x11 with .125" bleed. When I say "export bleed" when exporting to PDF, it says OK and creates a 8.75x11.25 document - which my printer rejects, because they want an 8.5x11" document with bleed. If I say don't export bleed, it doesn't export bleed. Am I missing a setting here? Thank you. I know this has been asked elsewhere, but I couldn't find it. Thank you again. Quote
Old Bruce Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 I am assuming that your printer is a Print Shop. Perhaps they have 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper and will trim it to 8 1/4 x 10 3/4 inches. You really need to talk to them about what their requirements are. Maybe they could send you a PDF of an actual document they printed and you can see what they need from that. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
