Pentaxx Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 Batch Job function: The developed JPGs are all underexposed. I´m using DNG raw format (Pentax) Thomas Quote
Ron P. Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Are you running a macro to Develop them? Simply running a batch job to convert raw files to jpeg is not going to adjust exposure, tonal values, sharpness, ect. EDITED I've never managed to get a batch job, running a raw develop macro to work on many image files. It may work, but all the raw files need to have the same exposure, aperture, ISO, shutter speed. I may not fully understand the work-around, but I think that AP applies the values set when building the macro, to all images used. So any variations in the input files, will result in different results for your exported (developed) files. AP just is not designed to develop, with any accuracy, more then 1 raw file at a time. It's not like LR, where you can develop a raw file, then "sync" it to others. Quote Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions. Pentaxx Posted May 29, 2023 Author Posted May 29, 2023 (edited) I know that you cannot adjust anything like brightness sharpness etc. I also never tried to use a macro because like you said all the raw files will be adusted the same way which most likely will not fit. I´m using Batch Job functionality in order to get quick JPGs for review on different devices where RAW formats cannot be reviewed. The issue with underexposed JPGs appeared aft Affinity was updated. I do not want to play arroungd with it because for a quick review it was absolutely sufficient but now it is so much underexposed that the results a nearly black. Edited May 29, 2023 by Pentaxx Quote

EpicFail Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 Same issue here using NEF files, the batch job results in the same image as if setting exposure to -5 in Develop Persona instead of 0. Rolling back from the 2.1 to the 2.0.3 solved the issue for me. Quote
