jengrant Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Hi, I'm having trouble removing the background completely from an image. It's white and pixelated. I used the background remover tool. I'm on a Macbook Air M2 using Venture 13.3.1. And I'm a beta user for Affinity Photo 2. Please help!! Hunters-Creek 1.afphoto Quote
NotMyFault Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 Choose the golf background layer selection from layer feather selection by 2px Shrink selection -1px add mask (to golf cart layer). this will cut off the excess white. for further fine tuning, use the erase brush on the mask with 80% hardness to clean-up remaining white areas. jengrant Posted May 27, 2023 Author Posted May 27, 2023 Thank you... I'm pretty new to this... can you expand on 5 above? I'm not sure how to add a mask. Thanks for replying... yay, I'm learning! Quote

At the bottom of the Layers Panel there’s a Mask Layer icon — click it to add a mask. (Sorry I’m not at my computer to take a screenshot.)
