Publisher 2.1.0: Editing a table from Master page in normal page leads to crash

I am not seeing this here on Mac OS 11.7

I made a new Publisher document. I made a table on the Master Page and went to Page 1. I double clicked on the table while using the Move tool and I was given the text cursor in the table cell where I had clicked. I then tried double clicking on the table layer in the Layers panel and I was given the Table enlarged to fit the screen.

Finally, is your table in a container of some sort on the Master page? Is it in a separate document which you have placed on the master page? Are you on Mac or Windows?

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 11.7.6 
Affinity Designer 2.1.0 | Affinity Photo 2.1.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.1.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hi @oha,

I've not been able to replicate the crash on macOS so it sounds as though it may be Windows specific. Hopefully someone else who is running Publisher on Windows can also check your file to confirm if they experience the same issue and if so this thread can be moved to the bug reporting forum and the issue logged as a bug... :)

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

I can confirm that I am able to replicate this issue on Windows and I have logged it with our development team to be resolved ASAP.

This seems to occur when hovering over the table lines, so that the Table Tool icon appears as the cursor, and then left clicking.
