Andrew Barton Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Hi, I have just updated to Affinity v2.1.0 and now have 'Photo 2', 'Designer 2' and 'Publisher 2' sitting alongside v1.10.6 versions. Using my favourite program to remove unused apps (AppCleaner) on Photo shows there are 33 files totalling 2.69GB but there are some v2 files in the list such as 'com.seriflabs.affinityphoto2.plist' and folders such as '~/Library/Application Support/Affinity Designer 2'. Similarly, there is over 2GB shown for each of Designer and Publisher (though the number of files to remove is fewer). How can I safely remove all v1 files without impacting the v2 installation ? v_kyr Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 I assume here you mean just app related installer files and not own created doc files etc. - For that just remove v1 apps from '/Applications' the common way and then when removing dependencies with tools like AppCleaners exclude v2 related directories/files, aka '~/Library/Application Support//Affinity Designer 2' etc., from file removal lists. Or review and remove those v1 folders instead manually.
