TechGreg Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Hi, in Affinity Designer 2 the file size of an export to jpg is unexpected high. For example an 300x300 px icon should be around 20 KB, not 1.8 MB. When i export it to 301x301 px and then change the file size with macOS preview to 300x300 px the size reduces to 20 KB. In Affinity Designer 1 i never had this problem. Is it a known bug in Version 2 or am i doing something wrong? Regards Gregor Quote

Pšenda Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 If you are not using a specific ICC profile, you can exclude it from the export (uncheck the button that peeks out at the bottom of the screenshot). TechGreg Posted May 25, 2023 Author Posted May 25, 2023 Hi @Hangman and @Pšenda, of course the problem was the ICC profile. I thought I had checked this... 🤦🏼♂️ Thank you very much! Hangman and Pšenda 2 Quote
