auto add mask to a new layer?

Is there an option to auto add mask to a new layer? Didnt find it in settings. 

Also would be nice to have an option for a shortcut "new later with mask".

AFAIK there isn't. There's also no kbd shortcut for adding a mask layer (...at least not for V1 apps). - There's just the "rasterize to mask" setable shortcut.

There's a menu option for it, Layer > New Mask Layer, and you can assign a keyboard shortcut to that if you want to, at least in Photo V1.

Actually there's and @walt.farrell directed you to this. In my case i chose this keys.

Away from pc right now but I think only empty mask is available as shortcut in V2

No, both New Mask and New Empty Mask are available via the Layer menu and can be assigned shortcuts in V2 (at least in Photo 2). As can the new Compound and Live mask layer types.

I looked into ADe v1, as you didn't said initially for which app, and there isn't that kbd option available and also no Layer > New Mask Layer option, despite what others might tell here! - So only APh V1 has that.
