I save even more space than that.  Once of the first things I do after setting up Photo on a new computer or user account is to close that panel since I never use it.

If you do find it useful for some reason, then I can see how that could save a bit of time on scrolling, but at the expense of time spent either memorizing the icons or waiting for tooltips to pop up telling you what each one is.

Considering my 13+ years of professional retouching experience in PS, you no need to wait for a tooltip once you learn the tools and will recognize it by icons (otherwise, what are the icons there for?). And this part just steals the useful space.

I would love to see a dropdown menu with the various presets in the window for the adjustments. Something like this.

It would call up the presets in a list with perhaps just the names.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
