I know there are several threads in the v1 archive on this topic such as the ones below but here's a fresh v2 one.

I want to be able to drag slices in the Slices panel of the Export persona to re-order them. I'm considering deleting all my slices and starting over now that I've discovered I can't reorder them. I want them in a logical order and not in the order I created them in.

Strangest thing is that the arrange buttons are present but not working.clipimage.thumb.jpg.16bb3180ac9449fe81bfff553f2a2d1a.jpg

I think Serif wants us to be only creative in finding workarounds to use their tools.

Uhm, even more strange as you can see from my screengrab I am selecting the lowest item in the slices panel and don't get the arrange options becoming available.

I think Serif wants us to be only creative in finding workarounds to use their tools.

ADesigner Version?

Edit:

Create Slice with Layers panel + Create Slice? Ordering don't work.
Create Slice with Slice Tool? Ordering work.

Your slice vs my slice.

Edit2: first created slice must be via Slice tool!

You're right, when creating a slice manually with the slicetool, which I don't use, it works.
But it should also be working with layers to slices.
This is a bug in my opinion.

I think Serif wants us to be only creative in finding workarounds to use their tools.

Drag and Drop to change the order despite of how slices are created should be working.

You mean should also be working.

Thanks, I've never used the Arrange buttons so I didn't notice them there and I wouldn't have thought they'd apply to slices anyway, I'd have assumed they would be for layers. But that's one problem solved. We really should be able to reorder them with the Slices panel but given there is a way to do it this would be lower priority.

It's imo the same action in the code.
Meaning both layers and slices should be able to drag/drop in its respected layers and move to a position through arrange menu and/or buttons

Likewise, doubleclicking on a slice thumbnail should adjust/enlarge its display.
