Jesse Burneko
Hello, For some reason Publisher keeps treating pages as transparent when I go to export them. I checked the Document Setting and I DO NOT have Transparent Background checked. Any idea what causes this and how to fix it? Jesse
Hangman
Hi @Jesse Burneko and welcome to the forums, PDF files are actually transparent by default so unless you phyiscally add a white background to your document you are just seeing the preview as intended. You will see the same thing in your document if you turn Transparent Background on under the colour tab of the Document Setup window. By default, Publisher shows a white background to 'simulate' a paper look but in the same way that you would need to add a background of any colour other than white, you would need to do the same if you want to physically see a white background in the export window. I hope that helps... SallijaneG
Yeah, it startled me for the first time, too, but then I realized that the output would be the same and I got used to the new look.
