ANGRYMAN Posted May 21, 2023 Posted May 21, 2023 So I have a bunch of photos I messed up having the WB setting on my camera incorrectly set. I have fixed the mas best I can in Lightroom but I have some that are still significantly out from each other though taken in same location and settings. Looking online I thought I would try AF2's colour matching via Swatch from donor image. There are several tutorials on this on YT but V2 doesn't seem to have most of the Tabs in V1 one! After opening the image I only have Histogram & Colour and no pull down seems to offer the ability to find it. Is something missing? Is V2 now different? How does one do colour matching from a donor image in V2? Quote
Ron P. Posted May 21, 2023 Posted May 21, 2023 Hi @ANGRYMAN, Yes they moved the Studio menus from the View main menu to the Window menu. Look under the Window menu for all the Studio (panels). The Swatches Studio (panel) should have a check beside it. Quote Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions. By this I understand that you are dealing with rgb images (jpeg or tiff) rather than raw out of the camera Photoshop has Image/Adjustments/Match Color which can be useful here, whether there is similar in Lightroom I don't know What I would try is this: In lightroom export an image with your various adjustments as you have probably done - call this New Then export another with the WB reset - call this Old Open an image in Photo Add a Layer/New Adjustment Layer/LUT Click the Infer LUT... button Load Old first then New File/Export LUT Open one of your images with colour you want to correct Add a Layer/New Adjustment Layer/LUT Click the Load LUT button Load the LUT that you created Hope for the best Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
ANGRYMAN Posted May 21, 2023 Author Posted May 21, 2023 I was taking images inside a Retail Unit and had unknowingly left my camera locked on 5500 WB. This resulted in mostly orange warm images. Software to hand are Photoshop & Lightroom Desktop current version plus latest version of Affinity Suite. Using Lightroom I can do an Auto WB which does a decent job but the odd image is really cold and tinted. Getting it roughly the same temp result in areas that should be orange being almost red. Messing about with tint doesn't work either. Colour match in PS doesn't rectify it nor does the Gradient Map in Affinity Photo 2 so I am a bit stuck. Quote

(1000's of images so RAW too intensive) Brackets auto detected in Lightroom by duration to get my stacks Stacks converted to HDR in Lightroom without applying any corrections Auto WB applied in Lightroom Manual tweaks to resulting HDR images.
