BigEvilDoer
Hello. I would like to place form filled PDF's into Affinity Publisher 2.1. When I select the PDF I wish to place, it shows that the forms are filled in the low-res preview. When I place the PDF, the filled forms are not showing - it's showing as being unfilled. Any suggestions as to how I can get it show the filled information? Thanks in advance.
v_kyr
Welcome! Which is finally meant, Affinity Photo as this threads title says, or Affinity Publisher? - However, I assume APub is meant here. 7 hours ago, BigEvilDoer said: When I select the PDF I wish to place, it shows that the forms are filled in the low-res preview. That's just a showup of an embedded thumb image preview file and no completely rendered PDF file. 7 hours ago, BigEvilDoer said: When I place the PDF, the filled forms are not showing - it's showing as being unfilled. I can imagine that the Affinity PDF input parser doesn't support and take forms into account here when importing PDFs, same as (AFAIK) it doesn't support the generation/creation of PDF forms for export. 8 hours ago, BigEvilDoer said: Any suggestions as to how I can get it show the filled information? If you need those in some editable parsed-in state (?), then you would probably have to get those form intact converted into some other supported file format for import. See therefor ... Placing content - APub ... or use some other tools instead here. walt.farrell
You will also find that comments made in PDF files are not supported when Opening or Placing PDF files, either. I think the form data is another aspect of this. The image and text layers are supported, but probably nothing beyond that. BigEvilDoer
Sorry for my tardy reply... But thank you guys so much. Guess I'll just have to keep inserting the form filled file into Acrobat. walt.farrell
