Language setting is broken on V 2.1.0 (not beta)

Affinity Photo 2.1 does not switch languages

Affinity Designer 2.1 automatically gets local languages and does not enable switching to other languages

Affinity Publisher 2.1 automatically gets local languages and does not enable switching to other languages

Affinity Photo 2.1.0.1799 works perfectly

Hi @mthorner,

Can you give us some more information about this?  Which installer did you use MSIX or EXE?  Is this the UI language that's not changing or the language of text?

I'm guessing it's the UI language and i've just tested this with MSIX and EXE installers for Affinity Photo 2.1.0 and each time it picked up my Windows 11 was set to German language and i could go into Preferences for Affinity, change this to English, restart Affinity and the app is now in English.

Hi stokerg,

I installed all three 2.1 updates directly within the apps, when prompted to update.

Strangely Affinity Photo is set to English UK, while Affinity Publisher and Affinity Designer are in German.

All three 2.1 version do not switch language after changing the setting in Edit-Settings-General and automatically restarting the apps.

I purchased all three apps directly in your store during special upgrade deal (no idea if MSIX or EXE).

Do you need more info?
