What options do you have in mind?

For instance:

• Menu Layer > Invert
• Opt-click on thumbnail: show mask only
• Cmd-/Ctrl-click on thumbnail: create selection from mask
• Brush Tool: edit mask

I guess in new 2.1 now one needs to option+click y=to see the mask options. Thanks

I think what you are referring to is the selection of 'Luminosity range mask, etc.'. Is this correct? They are only available in APhoto and APubs Photo persona.

I run affinity for windows, and when I right click on the mask icon, I get a drop down box with luminosity, hue, compound masks, etc.  I do not have to select CONTROL Y. What's different for me is that I now need to right click to get those options.  In 2.04, I was able to get those options when I left clicked.  Now, in 2.1 I left click on the mask, I just get a common mask, but it is placed under the selected adjustment or filter layer, whereas before it would most often appear above it. Wonder if there is a setting for controlling these functions in the settings menu that I missed.

Hi @Bruceki22,

there is no option to change that behaviour.

The single left click was changed to right click during the beta period due to common requests.

If you want to change the way masks are added as separate or child layers then go to the Assistant Manager in the Preferences and change the behaviour.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
