Affinity Photo 2.1.0 on Mac OS.

To reproduce this:

  • Open Affinity and then an image. Make a change - e.g. add a layer.
  • Use the Affinity menu "About'. Do not dismiss the 'About' panel but immediately use the Affinity menu 'Quit'.
  • Affinity Photo is now unresponsive as it awaits your decision on whether to discard the current image or save it. That control is inaccessible to you as it is beneath the 'About' panel - which itself, you can no longer dismiss.

(The application can now be killed via Apple's 'Force Quit' menu).

Hi Mark_A,

When I try this here the about menu is always slightly lower than the quit menu please could you tell me the resolution of your Mac display and if you use any display scaling settings at all?

Thanks
C

I don't think this is an Affinity only problem, I seem to recall this happening with other applications. The Save / Don't Save / Cancel window is hidden behind the Splash Screen but we can still use the Keyboard shortcuts.

Use the Escape key to cancel the Save dialog which is hidden behind the About splash screen. Then dismiss the About splash screen. You could also use the Command + D to Don't Save or even the Command + S to save the changes.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
