Copy vector from Designer to Publisher? Is this not possible?

I make a vector graphic in Designer and want to use it in my Publisher layout. I copy it. No paste option in Publisher. Can I not paste it in Publisher? Is there a decent workflow here? Do I have to export as PDF or SVG and re-import into Publisher? 🥵

Assuming you've Saved the graphic as a .afdesign file, you could Place the file into a Publisher document.

Or, perhaps (I'm away from my iPad at the moment and can't try this), you could Open the .afdesign file in Publisher, Copy, switch to the Publisher document, and Paste.

You won't be able to Copy in Designer and Paste in Publisher, as that doesn't seem to work.

Oh man, this takes me by surprise. I just realized that Edit in Publisher doesn't work on a brand new iPad Pro, but now also that copy-paste doesn't work between Affinity apps?

It really slows down a true workflow, I hope Serif gets this fixed soon.
