drippy cat
I'm recording a series of tutorials that I'm aiming to put online at www.udemy.com and part of the course will be about layer blend modes. I'm fine with the layer blend modes that appear in Photoshop but I'm having trouble finding hard information about the ones that are special to Affinity Photo, namely the Average, Negation, Reflect, Glow, Contrast Negative, Erase modes that appear at the bottom of the list. I can take a guess as to what they do, and I have the idea that some of them may be intended to work more with brushes and/or adjustment layers than as straight pixel layers. But to do them justice I'd really like to hear about what they actually do and what they could be used for from someone who knows.
