Hello group ☺️

I have created the attached logo. I have two questions:

1. Can I resize the canvas that I have created it on?

2. I really struggled with the faded colour of the logo - is there an easy way to do it? I wanted to create a few of the same logo with different colours, I thought I would be able to change the base colour, but that just screwed things up!

Any help greatly appreciated,

Ian

Yes, use Document Setup, and change the size. If you want the contents to also resize, make sure Rescale is selected. Otherwise, select Anchor to Page, and (probably) select the center point as the anchor in the dialog box below that option.

I think you will need to reconstruct each of the colors (main object, and within the gradient effects) to do that.

Try putting a Recolour Adjustment layer over top.

I would have used Global colours for the different colours in your three shapes. You have 1 solid coloured shape, and two with different Gradients. I would use Global colours for each of the two stops in the two Gradients (so four) and then one for the Solid coloured object and a final one for the stroke.

I would use a Stroke not an Outline Effect on the shapes.

I would also get rid of the Gradient Overlays, you are compounding colours. It will cause you much pain in the future.

Here is how I would have done it.

I should point out that I would most likely redo the entire thing because there is a problem with the joins/overlaps in a couple of places, upper left and lower right.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hi Bruce, thank you for the great advice :) I will have a play with it today - there may be more questions!
