Dan C Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Hi @Ezbaze, Thanks for your report! 19 hours ago, Ezbaze said: MEDIA BOX \ CROP BOX \ ART BOX Does not work, it just stays on the one it was As far as I'm aware, these 3 options are only supported for PDF documents - so it is expected that the option remains on TrimBox with a placed .afdesign file, though I will log the menu options with our developers to see if these can be hidden when not applicable. However, in my testing the BleedBox, Minimum Content and Maximum Content is working as expected for me. Are you able to attach a copy of the files shown in your screenshots so I can investigate this further? If you'd like a private upload link for these files, please don't hesitate to ask Quote
Ezbaze Posted May 17, 2023 Author Posted May 17, 2023 Hi @Dan C, Thank you for your response, Yes i think that would be a good idea as it is a bit confusing at the moment. I have also tried this with the newly released 2.1 version of Affinity and the issue still appears, bleedbox works now but the trimbox is still broken ( I doesn't seem to take into account the bleed ) I also think that it would be good to add a separate toggle for the Embedded document to enable/disable the bleed Yes, I'd like the private link Quote
Ezbaze Posted May 18, 2023 Author Posted May 18, 2023 Another issue ( BleedBox ), it doesn't show the bleed Embedded Document + BleedBox The Document + Shape clearly going far and beyond the bleed I would like to point out that I use a rectangle in which the Elipse is, the rectangle is the right size to go up to the bleed. Dan C Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 No problem at all! 20 hours ago, Ezbaze said: Yes i think that would be a good idea as it is a bit confusing at the moment. In further testing I found that this only occurs when the .afdesign document has Artboards in use, so this certainly seems to be a UI bug which our team can resolve in a future update 20 hours ago, Ezbaze said: Yes, I'd like the private link Thanks for confirming, please upload your file to the below link for me: https://www.dropbox.com/request/xiOX8sG9nKrrP728A5IX Once uploaded, please reply here to let me know and I should be able to test both your initially reported issue and the more recent issue above. 20 hours ago, Ezbaze said: I also think that it would be good to add a separate toggle for the Embedded document to enable/disable the bleed I'd recommend posting in the Feedback section of the forums regarding this for our devs to see and consider! Many thanks in advance. Quote
Ezbaze Posted May 19, 2023 Author Posted May 19, 2023 The Files have been uploaded @Dan C Thank you Quote
Ezbaze Posted May 20, 2023 Author Posted May 20, 2023 @Dan C I have run into the issue again where multiple artboards break the bleed in any export. I uploaded it to the same link that you have provided previously. Quote
Dan C Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Many thanks for the files provided and my apologies for the delayed response here! I can confirm I'm seeing the same issues in your first file provided (the artboard being 'cut off' incorrectly and the bleed area not showing for the 'Apple-case' artboard) and I have logged these with our development team for further investigation. Unfortunately I'm not 100% certain of the issue I should be checking in the second file based on the information above - what format are you exporting this document to? Are you exporting all, or only singular artboards at once? Any information you can provide will help me to better understand this issue - many thanks once again Quote
