Beck Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Hey everyone! For some weird reason, my PDF exports aren't showing correctly! My original design is in my AF file & JPEG that looks like this: You'll see in my PDF export some of the background elements are showing BLUE like this: This needs to be exported correctly for High Quality Print - so i usually export as PRESS READY. In this case, did not work. I've also tried different PDF Export options - Digital High Quality, For Print, For Export. All still show differently. Never really had this issue with Affinity 1. Affinity 2 bug? Thanks!! [ICEBABY] Custom Shirt Savvy Workfile.afdesign [ICEBABY] Custom Shirt 2023 Updated _Template.pdf Quote
NotMyFault Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 If you copy the mis-behaving layer into a new document and use "expand stroke", you see the same issue that the stroke color gets converted as fill color, but the inside/outside is buggy as the curve is self-overlapping. This is a bug of expand stroke, and I think already reported. It becomes visible in the exported PDF as the combination of features (probably a pressure profile on the stroke, and/or layer FX) leads to Affinity apps expanding the stroke do to feature discrepancy between Affinity functionality and PDF.
