Affinity Photo crashing when zooming dynamically

Hello

I've been experimenting an issue with affinity Photo since I upgraded to version 2, it crashes when I use the dynamic zoom (Cntrl + Space + LMB).

A day to day example is, I'm drawing or painting something with the app on my Laptop, I want to zoom out to look at something and then BAM! Suddenly the software stops working as if the screen froze and I can no longer do anything and I need to kill the program (or let it decide it needs to close after a while).

Before watching my video I give some extra info:

- In the video I expose I'm using a Cintiq but it also happens with a normal Wacom (I don't zoom dynamically with a mouse so I'm uncertain if it has anything to do with this sort of gadgets).

- Tends to happen more when zooming out rather than zooming in (but happens both ways).

- I think it has to do with my GPU but I'm not sure.

- This crash doesn't happen every time I zoom dynamically, sometimes it feels as random like when will it happen (sometimes I can zoom dynamically around 50 times and nothing happens whereas other times I need to kill the software on my first zoom).

- If the software crashes in this way, when I open Affinity Photo back again, if I didn't save before the crash, then all information since my last save is lost.

Hi Nova-Odos,

Please could you navigate to Edit > Preferences and send me a screenshot of the performance tab? Alternatively we have addressed a crash on zoom in our latest beta build so it may be worth downloading that to see if it solves your problem.
