Frozen Death Knight Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 I have come across a bug with brushing that causes the UI to become completely unresponsive. What I notice is that when the brush becomes laggy at times, most likely caused by the size of the brush and canvas, it then leads to the UI no longer being clickable. I am still able to keep brushing on the canvas and can even paint through the UI itself after activating this bug, so the bug is more complicated than Affinity just simply freezing up. The solution I have found is that alt-tabbing or just simply clicking outside of Affinity will then unlock the UI again to work as it should. I managed to capture the bug fully in action. Also notice that the History panel keeps making more brush stroke history states when clicking through the UI. debraspicher 1 Quote
debraspicher Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 I have encountered the same. Edit: I have video as well but am away from PC. Frozen Death Knight 1 Quote
Staff Chris B Posted May 10, 2023 Staff Posted May 10, 2023 I've managed to reproduce this with the Paint Mixer Brush but I can't get it with the Paint Brush Tool. Frozen Death Knight 1 Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
