Before anyone starts, YES, I know V2 is the most recent but one of my machines is Win8 and I don't feel like upgrading it or losing compatibility with my Win10 machine.

I have tried to find my product key/license(I purchased through the Affinity website) and apparently the "download Universal License" button on my account doesn't actually work. I swore I already had downloaded it for my Win8 machine but if so then I can't find it. I thought I had signed into my account on my Win8 machine but I don't seem to get this option with Win10 as it is grayed out.  Any help appreciated.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

V1 and V2 are separate products, and require separate license purchases.

If you have purchased a V1 license for one of the Affinity applications, from the Affinity Store, you'll find the download and the license info at https://affinity.store/account/downloads

That's weird because on my Win8 machine I seem(not 100% sure as it's been a couple weeks and I've had a lot of distractions since then) to have registered it with my V2 license without issue, and I think it allowed me to just login to my account. I mean, when I go to that machine it says it's registered to me and lets me go to my account on the site. I'm not certain how that came to be but that's definitely what I'm seeing.image.png.a09dd02c11ffb4db99e8fbe1175c02b0.png

You can't register V1 with a V2 license, and you can't run V2 on a Win 8 machine.

Please recheck.

I just posted(in my previous message) the "my account" portion of Publisher where I have v1.10.6 installed...so it's SOMEHOW possible.

Hi @ehrichweiss,

What you believe you are seeing in your image or what you believe has happened is not actually what has happened.

Your image shows that you have installed Affinity Publisher 1 and registered it to your Affinity Store account.

Your image does not show any reference to V2 or any reference to a V2 licence being used. The details on your Affinity Store account reflect the same.

On the positive side, everything appears to be working for you as it should be.
