TanBrae
I've been trying to figure out how to "blend" two or more images. Can't find any tutorials for it. And, the tutorials I've seen for PS don't work ( no worries there - I know I'm not working with PS, but may have to resort to doing that). What I'm trying to do is shown in this video. I want to blend images together, seamlessly, as it shows in the video. I am capable of doing it in PS, but I don't want to install PS back on my computer. Please help! For some reason I didn't get an email notification that you did, and I've been so busy taking care of my dad... Is there sound to this video? If not, maybe I can expand it so I can see what you are clicking on. THANK YOU!!!! I really do appreciate this. I have never used gradient masking - figured I was doing something wrong when it came up all gray, and nothing I did made it transparent. Now, to practice, practice, practice! TanBrae
After trying this so many times that I've lost count, I still cannot achieve what I'm trying to do. I'm following your video, but I still cannot get the edges to blend. What I get is the bottom layer's opacity changing, with nothing happening to the top layer. So, can anybody point me in the direction of a tutorial, perhaps with audio, so I can make this happen? I have watched it done in PS, as seen in the linked video in my original post, but that still isn't quite what I am trying to do. I want to blend edges so I don't have sharp, well defined edges. Old Bruce
I don't know what you mean by 22 hours ago, TanBrae said: I still cannot get the edges to blend. But play about with this Photo File. I used a Rectangle to hold the Gradient because a Vector object will allow me to go back and edit the gradient time and again. The Rectangle is masking the top Pixel layer. Change the Opacity of the stops using the Colour panel's Opacity slider. transpaency.afphoto Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.1 Affinity Designer 2.2.1 | Affinity Photo 2.2.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.2.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
