Gamut Masks: How To

Hey everyone, 
I'm fairly new to digital painting and to digital painting software. I haven't yet found a resource or tut on doing this yet so I wanted to ask here.

Can someone point me to a resource to learn how, or will someone tell me how to make a gamut mask on an image of a color wheel in either Affinity Photo or Designer?

I uploaded a photo of what it would look like. The image on the far right is the end result. 

I keep trying to make one on my own, but I can't figure out how to do it.

I know that this also may not yet be a feature, so I have emailed the company asking if this is or not. 

Any help would be really wonderful.
