Column Guides not appearing in Publisher 2.0.4

I am trying to set up a document in Publisher 2.0.4 and need to specify columns. I have followed the instructions in the help guide, which ask me to go to the View menu, switch on Show Column Guides then select Guides Manager. Although I select Show Guides, I can't see any Guides Manager. Am I doing something wrong? I am working on an iMac, running Catalina 10.15.7

Welcome to the forums. You appear to be reading the version 1 help file but you're using version 2. Guides Manager is now simply named Guides. Here is the correct help page for version 2:
