Tracey Capone Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 Hi! I didn't see anything out there about this, hopefully I didn't miss something. According to the manual (both beta and retail V2) selecting a layer before adding an adjustment should still create a clipping mask like it does in V1. This isn't happening. Even with a layer selected, it sets the adjustment layer above that layer and everything beneath and you have to manually clip it. Please see attached screen grab. Thanks! walt.farrell Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Check your Assistant Settings. You probably have "Adding Adjustment Layer to Selection": Take no action. That will put it at the top of the stack. You need to change it to the other choice, Based on Selection. thedivclass and Tracey Capone 1 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
