vintagelove Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Update: "Align Stroke Outside" at 10pt worked when I made a new rectangle outside of the artboxes & disappeared again when I dragged it onto the artboxes. What could the issue be within the artboards? I'm trying to add an outline to a rectangle (shape) and it is not working. I do see a stoke, but it's only about 1pt when I have the outline set to 10pt, black and "Align stroke to outside". The other align options (inside, center) work. I have attached a screenshot of my settings. PS. It does not work in any other tab, there are no layers above the active artboard. Also, nothing changes below or above 10. Document is: 8.5x11" 300dpi CMYK/8 Quote
RM f/g Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 The part of the stroke that is outside the artboard is invisible. Unless your rectangle is completely outside the artboard> If your rectangle runs along the edges of the artboard and the line is set to ‘Align to outside’, no stroke is visible. Set to ‘Align to centre’, half the width of the stroke is visilbe (only the part inside the artboard). Set to ‘Align to inside’ reveals the whole width of the stroke. vintagelove Posted April 28, 2023 Author Posted April 28, 2023 I just realized: My design was in an artboard & I wanted a group. Having the design in a group (no artboard) fixed it. Quote
