SoCuul Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Hi! I would love to be able to disable the window that pops up when an Affinity V2 program is loaded. Currently, it brings up the same window as when you click "My Account", which shows personal information. It would also be nice to be able to customize which tab the program opens up to (account, new, open, etc.), as well as disabling it. Quote
GarryP Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 That dialog should show you, when the application launches, the tab which you used last. If it always shows the My Account tab, no matter which tab you used last, then that’s probably a problem that needs to be looked at. I agree that it might be nice to be able to optionally set a specific tab to be shown on application launch, no matter which was used last. Looking at your image it seems like you are missing the “Show on Startup” checkbox – see attached image from Windows. I don’t know if that’s a problem with just your installation or if it’s a macOS-specific issue. Quote
Staff DWright Posted April 26, 2023 Staff Posted April 26, 2023 On the Mac version of the Affinity apps the show on startup option is not shown on the Account tab as it is on the Windows version, if you select another tab such as New then close the window the next time that you open the app it will show the last tab that you used. SoCuul Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 (edited) How would I toggle the "show on startup" option on macos? Edit: Turns out it appears in the file tab. Thanks Edited April 26, 2023 by SoCuul Quote
