Staff MEB Posted February 28, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 28, 2016 Hi pmi, In the Channels panel right-click on the Red channel and select Create Spare Channel, then right click on the Spare Channel you just created and select Load To Levels Adjustment Alpha. pmi
I tried, but I can not paste the channel to create the mask. Is there a tutorial or an example?
JimmyJack
pmi, sorry if I'm not understanding. The Red Channel for a (any) layer is listed separately than the composite Red Channel. You can Right click on it and go straight to a mask layer. I get the feeling though that something has gone over my head.... Edit : almost forgot to attach image... barninga
you don't need to paste anything actually, just select the layer you want to mask with its own red channel and select the menu item like attached. EDIT: just like JimmiJack showed a couple of minutes ago :) Quote take care, stefano
