I'm always amazed how much plasticity a simple Lighting filter can add to an otherwise rather flat image.
I used the Paint Mixer Brush quite extensively, painting over a stock photo of a lily with a coarse bristle brush and adding some layer effects.

This was just for fun and to unwind, nothing serious. 😌
I thought I'd share it anyway, maybe it inspires someone to try something similar. 😊

Expressive brushstrokes paint a blurred image of a lily. The brushstrokes are very plastic, impasto, like a thick layer of paint that you can feel with your fingertips.

Based on your inspiration, I "painted" this picture. I also used a stock photo from Pixabay and used a brush from Affinity Photo's repertoire to make the colour changer function look like an oil painting. In addition, I used the Lighting Filter just like you.
