lkahonen Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 This is the first time I'm making a publication with footnotes. When I import a .docx file, Publisher (2.0.4) creates the footnotes nicely, but all the numbers are double. Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thank you in advance! Quote
MikeTO Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Hi @lkahonen and welcome to the forums. I assume that one of those numbers is the actual footnote and the other is plain text, and that somehow the footnote fields got converted to text. I haven't seen this issue reported before with importing from docx. I recommend turning on Text > Highlight Fields to highlight the footnote markers. Hopefully then you'll be able to see which ones are real footnote markers and which ones are plain text and can be deleted.
