Two days ago, leading worked fine. Now when I change the font size to adjust for updated text, the leading is either bunched up or ridiculously spaced out. I'm trying to use 12 pt and at 12 pt leading is extremely tight. When I increase from 13 to 24 pt it spaces out the same and very wide. Then it jumps again at 28. What is going on? The two screenshots show leading at 12 pt and then 13 pt.

Frequently issues like that are related to the Baseline Grid settings.

I finally found it and unchecked it, and that solved the overall setting. What's confusing to me is that I had been able to have the spacing automatically adjust previously, to different text length and font size. Then it stopped.

Thank you for your continued help to those in need. When I have spare time, I'll go into the Publisher forum and look for posts/answers from you as I almost always learn something new.
