Strange footnotes behavior when text wrap is used

When I use text wrap around an object, the footnotes start going wild - instead of sticking to the bottom of the frame, they inexplicably start rising towards the text.

Any thoughts?

We do have a similar issue logged in relation to a object's text wrap outline causing causing a sidenotes position to move incorrectly, so I can confirm if this is the same issue could you provide the sample document from your screenshot?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Serif generally doesn't comment on when bugs will be fixed. It seems this one did not make it into 2.1, as there has been no mention of a fix for it yet.

The issue "Text frames with overflowing text and text wrapped objects can cause footnote positioning to behave erratically" (REF: AF-1600) has been fixed by the developers in the latest beta build (2.6.0.3089). The fix is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
