This issue is related to Intel's range of Arc GPUs and our apps crashing on launch due to OpenCL, can you please copy and paste the following into the Windows Run dialogue and click OK and this will start Affinity Designer with the OpenCL option turned off. 

C:\Program Files\Affinity\Affinity Designer\Designer.exe --no-ocl
