Affinity photo on iPad. Overheating while working with non raster layers

Recommended Posts

The iPad 12.9 m2 8gb quickly overheats when I try to refine the selection with non rasterized layers, (a ".webp" images were imported) after the layer is rasterized the iPad cools down almost immediately. This is not the case in version 2.0.4

Hey Nadzilla,

I've re-tested this issue and although the iPad does get warm when you Refine a selection on a large document, it does not get as hot as it did when the issue was first reported.

Is it document specific for you? As in, can you reproduce on a smaller, blank document? We found it ran hotter when refining a non-pixel document. Also, what iPad model are you using?
