Marc Stinkvark Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Due to problems I had to erase the HD of my Mac mini M1. Sadly, I forgot to expport the most recent versions of the application palettes that I had created before I did. Now, I do had a non-bootable Time Machine running on a external USB-A disk. And a non-bootabel Carbon Copy Clone on a USB-C disk. Is there any change I can retrieve those palettes from one of those disks? I tried copying the old Affinity Designer app from my Time Machine to my HD but it seems it just opened the freshly installed one (or used the settings from the new installed one) The same when I opened Affinity Designer from the CC clone. walt.farrell Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Your application palettes are in the file fills.propcol, in the "common" (or shared) section of files (not specific to Photo, Designer, or Publisher, as they are shared among all 3 applications). This FAQ will tell you where to find it: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
