When I hit the check for updates prompt, I get: "Affinity Designer 2 can’t be updated if it’s running from the location it was downloaded to." I don't know the solution to this. I'm using an iMac. GarryP Posted April 11, 2023 Share Posted April 11, 2023 Welcome to the forums @Mrthebeast It sounds like you are maybe running the application from the downloaded DMG rather than installing the application properly and running from one of the Applications folders. Have you properly installed the application? (Instructions for installing Mac applications, in general, can be found on the web, just search for mac install .)
