davshev Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 (edited) I'm trying to create a grid overlay of for an image. I want to be able to subdivide the grid into perfectly equal parts so that all of the subdivisions are the exact same aspect ratio as the image. The default grid setting seems to just superimpose a grid of squares regardless of the size/shape of my image. In Photoshop you can alter the grid size in terms of a percentage. And use the Guides dialog to set up your divisions using outline and 0 (zero) width gutters. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
davshev Posted April 10, 2023 Author Posted April 10, 2023 Ahh....so, it's done with the guides manager, not the grid manager. Can the guides be stored as a preset? Quote
iconoclast Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 You could also try "View" > "Grid and Axis". Choose "Advanced", "Grid Type": "Two axis custom". Then "Fixed aspect ratio". Now you can change the "Spacing" of the two axes separately. Quote
